The Garden of Eden is the state of man at one with nature. Feeding upon the natural product of the forest, but not sowing, reaping, or industrializing. Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them.
Man’s departure from the Garden of Eden is in fact man’s decision to rely upon himself to provide his essentials, as opposed to that which is naturally provided by God in nature. Contrary to other animals, man has chosen to differentiate himself by contorting nature into alternative objects designed specifically for his benefit. But each creation of man seems to bring a related catastrophe.
With his agriculture, man instigates an overabundance so that large, sprawling cities can be supported, as intrusions upon nature. Pavement overruns the soil, car exhausts fog the air, and all sorts of industrialization pollute the rivers. All technology and science are blatant attempts by man to elevate himself above nature and to discover God (the workings of the universe) by his own physical means.
As with the Tower of Babel, man unabashedly seeks to elevate himself to fully reveal God and the entire workings and structure of the universe. Newton himself predicted the eventual merging of science and religion as more about the universe is discovered. But God knows the capabilities of man and where this unfaithful mission will lead humanity; and so the eventual destruction of the world is revealed to us in the Revelation.
Man violates nature and the creation -with his wars, explosions, pollution, over-population, deforestation, and destruction. Man moves forward against nature like some vicious parasite that fully consumes its host, only to leave itself to die, without nourishment, in the end.
Only those parasites that can somehow spawn a new creature, by metamorphosis can survive the unstoppable destruction of the host. For example, upon consuming the meat, maggots can become a fly and hence soar off to find other resources that will support its reproduction. Will we be able to ascend from the earth before we fully consume all that sustains us here? Will we be able to continue our search for God about space and time, seeking out other bits of nourishing planets to sustain us, then moving on to the next? Will we morph fully into spirit at death?

Welcome to HubPages, nice article although a bit controversial. Can we really expect to live just by picking what is available in nature, nor gardening and soon?
A very nice article written with so much passion Suessy. Indeed these questions come to one's mind often. But perhpas man will find a way- some sanity may occur. I am saying this - some days back I wrote an article, wondering about dark ages - is it coming now ?
But still seeing so much of young crowd on internet, ready to help any one with any problem, without expecting any rewards, makes me hopeful, even in this insanity some are there on right path.

Very good post, the grounds we love on (earth) dimension we exist in has become so overwhelmed with greed and prosperity that noone actually stops to think about pollution and poisonous toxins affecting the earth. Seldomly listening to our presidents clean energy demands. Well this place we love in is was created by god himself, we had a job to do as humans. I believe that Job was to protect earth and ensure its eternal life. We have strayed so far from the truth that it has become almost impossible to ever no the true hidden secrets of "life". Very good post I look forward to reading more from you.
